Remember there is a strict dress code in ALL these competitions collared polo shirt or dartshirt of Institute ONLY except a personalised dartshirt or polo shirt allowed for the Singles & Masters' Competitions and Black Trousers and dark Shoes ONLY.

World University Darts Championships

Singles Format:

The WUDC Singles is the Best of 7 legs 501 up to and including the Quarter-Finals. It is the Best of 9 legs 501 for the Semi-Finals & 3rd/4th Place Play-Off.

It is the person's name on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the toss will throw on the ODD number LEGS and there will ONLY be one toss in the match.

European University Darts Championships

Pairs' Format:
The EUDC Pairs is the Best of 5 legs 1001 throughout the Championships.
It is the Pair's names on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the toss will throw on the ODD number LEGS and there will ONLY be one toss in the match.

Masters Format:
The WUDC Masters is the Best of 3 sets 5 legs 501 up to and including the Quarter-Finals. It is the Best of 5 sets 5 legs 501 for the Semi-Finals & 3rd/4th Place Play-Off and the Best of 7 sets 501 for the Final. It is the person's name on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the toss will throw on the ODD number SETS and there will ONLY be one toss in the match.

The EUDC Masters is the TOP 32 from the EUDC Singles from previous day's championships. It is the first to 1 set 5 legs 501 up to and including the Quarter-Finals. It is the Best of 3 sets 5 legs 501 for the Semi-Finals & 3rd/4th Place Play-Off and Best of 3 sets 5 legs 501 for the Final.
It is the person's name on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the toss will throw on the ODD number SET/SETS and there will ONLY be one toss in the match.

Irish University Darts Championships

Singles & Pairs' Format:
The U.D.A.I. Singles & Pairs is the Best of 3 legs 1001 throughout the Championships.
It is the Person/Pair's names on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the bull will throw on the ODD number. LEGS and there will ONLY be one toss in the match. 25 or Bull only applies for Bulling up purposes.

Teams & Masters'  Format:

The U.D.A.I. Teams & Masters (is the top 16 from previous years' singles and 16 from a qualifying Masters' Championship competition. If there is a shortfall of the 16 qualifiers from previous years Singles then there will be more paces added for the qualifying Masters Competition to be introduced at the U.D.A.I. Masters VI) have different formats.

The Masters' event is the first to 1 set 5 legs 501 up to the Semi-Finals & 3rd/4th Place-Play-Off and the Final is the Best of 3 sets 5 legs 501. The Teams' event is still 1001 with 1 leg = 1 point in the Round Robin with Teams been Best of 9 legs 1001 up until the Quarter-Finals and the Semi-Finals & 3rd/4th Place Play-Off is the Best of 11 legs 1001 & The Final been the Best of 13 legs 1001.

It is the Players name on TOP of the Draw who has call of toss and therefore choice of the bull. The winner of the toss will throw on the ODD number SETS in Masters, LEGS in Teams' and there will ONLY be one toss in the match.
